What do you mean by a tier?
A tier is a single row of pleated ribbon sewn or glued to form a circle on a rosette.

Elizabethan pleat one tier round rosettes are approximately 10cm.
Elizabethan pleat two tier rosettes are approximately 11.5cm.
Elizabethan pleat three tier rosettes are approximately 13.5cm.
Elizabethan pleat four tier rosettes are approximately 15.5cm.
Elizabethan pleat five tier rosettes are approximately 18cm.
Elizabethan pleat one tier oval rosettes are approximately 11.5cm.
Elizabethan pleat two tier oval rosettes are approximately 12.5cm.
Elizabethan pleat three tier oval rosettes are approximately 14cm.

What size is the centre disc on a rosette or badge?
The centre disc on a rosette or badge is 65mm in diameter, with the exception of the below.
- St. Patrick's Day Rosette Pack discs are 50mm in diameter.
- Communion and Confirmation Rosette Pack discs are 37mm in diameter.
- Oval rosettes have a centre disc diameter of 73mm x 45mm.
How many characters can be included on the circumference of the disc?
40 including spaces.

Elizabethan Pleat rosettes have the following dimensions:
One tier 23cm long x 2 @ 25mm wide tails
Two tier 30.5 cm long x 2 @ 38mm wide tails
Three tier 40.5cm long x 3 @ 38mm wide tails
Four tier 40.5 cm long x 3 @ 38mm wide tails
Five tier 40.5 cm long x 3 @ 38mm wide tails
All the above have 1 extra tail when there is a printed tail required.
Oval Pleat rosettes have the following dimensions:

How many characters can be included on a printed tails?
One tier rosette x 20 characters including spaces

What is the inner graphic?
This is the centrepiece graphic on your rosette.
The inner graphic option on the site will allow you to do one of the following:
- 1. Choose from a wide selection of generic options
- 2. Enter a short description of the graphic you want allowing us to try to match it as closely as possible for you
- 3. Upload a graphic - this option will incur artwork charges.
How does your pricing work?
We operate a volume discount pricing structure depending on the product and the quantity you order.
For example, across our customised rosette range, the standard price applies to orders of 1-50 rosettes. However orders of 51-100 rosettes receive a 15% discount and those of 101+ receive a 25% on the standard price.
All website orders receive a further discount of 5%. Please note that all orders are subject to verification by Shamrock Rosettes
How much do you charge for artwork?
There is a once-off charge if a printing plate needs to be manufactured.
There is a standard charge of €60 that reduces to €51 (51-100 rosettes) and €45 (101+ rosettes) for higher volume first orders.
Subsequent orders using this plate will not incur a charge.
If I provide artwork from which a plate is made, will it be used for other peoples rosettes?
No. If we use your artwork and have charged you to produce the block, it will be kept for your orders alone.
Can I make repeat orders?
We keep detailed records and can therefore easily supply repeat orders.
It is a great help if you are able to supply the relevant order number, especially if you have previously made a number of different orders. This is a four-digit number found on the relevant invoice.
Do I have to work out the cost of my order or will you work it out for me?
If you order on line, the website will do this for you automatically.
If you contact us by phone we will be able to provide you with an immediate quote for all standard orders.
Non-standard or very large orders may take more time in which case we will ring or email you within 24hours with a quote.
How do I pay?
We accept credit card and Laser payments through our PayPal account. You can also pay directly through your own PayPal account.
When you are making a purchase you will be redirected from our website to the PayPal website to complete your PayPal payment. You do not need to have an account to complete a payment.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes we do. VAT is charged at 21%.
How long will my order take?
We ask for a minimum of 12 working days from confirmation of order to delivery.
How do you deliver and how much does it cost?
We use a third party van courier service for all orders delivered in the Republic of Ireland and N. Ireland.
This method ensures that we meet customer deadlines (orders are delivered within 2 days of dispatch) and goods reach our customers in excellent condition.
Do you export?
Yes. We have customers worldwide including the UK, mainland Europe, Libya and Hong Kong.
It is important to note that standard delivery charges do not apply with export orders. The Packing & Courier charges are the following:
Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland: €18.00
UK: €24.00
Europe: €49.00
Asia: €69.00
Rest of World: €79.00
Is there a minimum order charge?
We operate a minimum order policy of €15 excluding packing and courier charges.
This minimum charge excludes individual purchases of Communion and Confirmation rosettes which are offered at €6 plus VAT, and are delivered by post only.

That is not a problem. Go to the Contact Us section on the site and type in your request and send.
We will try to source what you need and will respond to you within 2 working days.
